Interview Tips Series #2

Every hiring manager wants a candidate with a personality that is well suited to the requirements at hand. This is a major component to finding a good fit and is a major selling point for the candidate. So, at your next interview, remember to highlight your best attributes and how they relate to facing challenges and finding success, especially as they relate to the position for which you’re interviewing. Interview Tips Series

We all strive for success in our careers, but some of us struggle with the first phase of the process: interviewing. No matter how qualified you are, a less than ideal interview can seriously affect prospects.

But that’s where we come in! We know what employers want to see. We know what it takes to be successful.

Start with the ‘S.T.A.R.’ method of answering questions - Situation, Task, Action and Result. This will give your interviewer all of the information they need, in an organized, linear format which is easy to remember.

If you find your nerves are getting to you, the best way to give concrete examples of your proficiency is to describe a past situation that you are proud of.

A Message from Our President

I hope that you and your family are staying healthy and well during this incredibly stressful and uncertain time. As our economy prepares to reopen, I wanted to reach out today to remind you of the  staffing services we offer that can help minimize your hiring risks.

While many of our clients know us best for our direct hire placements, The Partners Alliance also offers Contract and Contract-to-Direct services nationwide. These services allow our clients the flexibility of temporary work, which can be exceptionally useful when navigating periods of economic transition.

We are fully insured with a $5 million umbrella policy and a $2 million errors and omissions policy. We are also insured for workers’ compensation in 48 states, and offer our employees health insurance, which includes vision and dental, and pay twice monthly via direct deposit.

I hope that you will keep us in mind for your full-time and part-time contract needs. Our rates are competitive, and you may offer employment to one of our Contractors following six months of service without fee.  We also will prorate our fees if you are rushed to convert them to your payroll.

In addition to Contract, we also offer Retained Executive Search and Contingent Search services to assist with your staffing needs.
